Key Medical Resources, Inc. has been approved for 35 courses for CNAs and HHAs!


Course content shall be designed to: a) enhance the knowledge and skills acquired during the certification program, b) enhance the knowledge and skills related to the safety, comfort, personal hygiene and protection of patients, and c) must reflect the duties of the CNA or HHA in a health facility.


Courses cannot be those that are applicable to the duties and scope of practice for licensed nurses, or duties pertinent to other allied health professions such as Medical Assistants, EKG Technicians, Ward Clerks, Telemetry Clerks, etc.  The Aide and Technician Certification Section will not allow “non-approved” courses to be applied to the renewal certification requirements for the CNA or HHA.


Effective January 1, 2016, only approved courses by CDOH will be acceptable for CNA/HHA Continuing Education.  The list of approved courses may be downloaded below. 


When you come to courses please be sure you follow these procedures:

1.  Sign the CNA HHA Sign in Sheet

2.  Verify your continuing education certificate has the NAC # printed.  If not, please contact Key Medical Resources for a replacement certificate. 

3.  You may also bring your CNA HHA In-Service Training Record below to have the instructor sign.
